Software Test User Group Hamburg aka monkey business

Monkey business is not just not a Skid Row song from the late 1980s, it was also a bit of a recurring theme of the introductory talk Lalitkumar Bhamare gave about RST and BBST at the first meet-up of the English-speaking Software Test User Group Hamburg. The meet-up was held at the xing headquarters and a bit more than twenty people showed up, many of those not having German as their first language, so the organizers succeeded with the goal to get all those international people out of their hide-outs. Since it was the first ever meeting, it consisted mostly of introducing one to each other and figuring out where the group wants to head to. Topic-wise it was all pretty much related to the talk given, thus to RST, BBST and context driven testing. Testing from that perspective will also be one of the major topics in the upcoming events. It is planned to establish these meet-ups at monthly pace and all I can say, if you are in the Hamburg area and have the slightest interest in testing, be sure to come around. I am sure I will, it was really an interesting evening.
